About Marbella

Marbella is the capital of lifestyle, leisure and luxury living in Southern Europe.

Ever since becoming the exclusive hide-away for European royalty in the mid 20th century, Marbella´s idyllic positioning as the playground of the privileged has only become stronger.

With unrivalled golf clubs in its surround such as Marbella Club and La Quinta, the backdrop of La Concha and the Sierra Blanca mountains, and then the dazzling Mediterranean coast with Puerto Banús and the luxury yachting marinas; it’s easy to understand why Marbella today is the favourite destination in Southern Europe with the international prestige who understand that life is for living.

The Best of Marbella

Golden Mile

The illustrious Golden Mile is an elegant strip of Mediterranean coastline that starts at the western end of Marbella and runs all the way to its world-famous luxury marina, Puerto Banús. Framed by the iconic La Concha mountain, the Mile originally followed a Roman road.

Alongside its fine beach and clear waters are Marbella’s finest hotels and restaurants, as well as its most exclusive clubs, including the Marbella Club.

New Golden Mile

The beachside area between San Pedro and Estepona is a fertile zone for rewarding investment opportunities.

Located a few kilometres west of Puerto Banús, the area is home to top clubs such as Puro Beach. Over the past 20 years, a number of high-end property projects including luxury complexes, resorts and residential areas have been established here, but considerable scope for quality development still remains.

Nueva Andalucía

Only 10 minutes from Puerto Banús, Nueva Andalucía is the largest of Marbella’s five districts. Typified by luxurious villas and apartments set amid splendid gardens and trees, it has become a highly sought-after spot for house buyers. Its lush greenery and multiple golf courses have led to its nickname of “Golf Valley”.

Nueva Andalucía offers a perfect balance between calmness and convenience. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range, it is set far enough back from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Banús to feel peaceful but close enough to walk there comfortably when the need or mood arises.

La Quinta

La Quinta is mostly surrounded by leafy residential areas. It also borders open tracts of nature, making it easy to walk, hike and ride through unspoiled wooded countryside. La Quinta’s luxury golf course boasts unbeatable views.

From this area, it is just ten minutes along the Golden Mile to the centre of Marbella, with its beautiful and historic Old Town, and a wonderful sea promenade full of life and activity.

East Marbella

Sandy beaches, with abundant bars, restaurants and sports facilities, lie east of Marbella. Luxury villas and mansions, surrounded by green zones of pine and cork-oak woodlands, typify its low-density neighbourhoods, including Elviria, Los Monteros and Río Real.

East Marbella offers easy connections to Marbella centre, and has a wide range of amenities such as shops, banks and quality restaurants.
